I am a graphic and user experience designer currently pursuing a BFA at RISD. I fell in love with user experience design during my time as a theatre student at Northwestern University, where I discovered that great theatre-makers and designers are alike in their profound empathy for others. My process is driven by curiosity—I often find that my best work results from a sense of play. All this to say that I take my work seriously, but never myself.
"Every great story seems to begin with a snake."
My work has been featured on FastCoDesign, TheNextWeb, CreativeBloq, and Mic. Most recently, I spoke at the World Summit for Innovation and Entrepreneurship about the importance of pain as an impetus for change. I believe that designers should seek to not only perceive, but also experience users' pain first hand in order to better understand its fundamental cause so that we may begin to ask the right questions...
...and one day create the right answers.
